In my classroom, I teach the core part of phonics in the morning, then review our new topic (and previous topics) at the end of the day after snack. It’s nice to have Smartboard games that the students can manage independently… and of course, it helps if they’re cute!
I’ve been hard at work making phonics and phonemic awareness games for my students and I have new games to share with you!
CVC Words Smartboard Games
CVCe Words Smartboard Games
Beginning and Ending Blends Smartboard Games
Closed Syllables Smartboard Games
Writing Smartboard Games
Sight Words Smartboard Games
I also added these games to my Spring Smartboard/Promethean bundle if you want to save 40% on all 12 Spring themed games I currently have up for sale.
Now of course, for a quick giveaway. I’m making my grandma’s famous spinach ravioli again this Easter. Yesterday, I made the stuffing and dough, and today I’ll start making a million tiny ravioli (okay, not a million, but last year we made 723 ravioli… yikes!)
Anyway… how long did it take me to make the spinach stuffing? I rounded the time to the nearest 15 minutes. Whoever guesses correctly first will win all of these games!

Joan was right! It took me two and a half hours to make the stuffing! I had to de-vein 48 oz. of Spinach… then I talked to my mom afterwards and she told me I didn't have to de-vein it, only to take the stem off. Argh! Now I know better for next year!
Joan – I'm sending you the set now!
